Paignton is a fabulous seaside town not far from us here at Long Barn Cottages, with lots to see and do, especially in April. Making its annual visit, the Anderton and Rowlands Fun Fair returns to Paignton Green between the 24th of March and the 10th of April. So why not experience all the fun of the fair? With plenty of rides, attractions and of course, food, this is a great day or night out for all ages.
Devon Bear Festival.
You don’t have to be a Jolly Roger or grow a black beard to enjoy Brixham’s Annual Pirate festival; with so many activities taking place between April 30th to May 2nd, there’s something to do for Captain Kidds of all ages to enjoy.
From re-enactments to live music and costume competitions, the Pirate Festival is set to deliver even more fantastic swashbuckling events than ever. You can even top your visit to Brixham off with a visit to the seaside town’s very own Pirate Ship, along with a museum packed full of history. You can find out more at the official Website
