With Father’s Day fast approaching on the 21st of June, it’s time to start organising where to celebrate all things ‘Dad'. Why not take Dad on a well-earned break to South Devon, where there is something for everyone to enjoy. Using our wonderful luxury cottages in Devon as a base for your adventures, you will find everything from bustling seaside towns to areas of outstanding beauty, all within close distance.
Here are just a few of the events and activities that will be taking place across South Devon during the Father’s Day weekend.
Just a few miles away from our accommodation in South Devon you’ll find the attractive seaside town of Babbacombe. This Father’s Day, its famous Cliff Railway will be holding a special treat for all Dads in the shape of a free-to-enter prize draw with Lucky dads getting a chance to win a goody bag.
If you are looking for a fabulous destination for a Father’s Day lunch, The White Hart in Dartington Hall could be the ideal choice for you. The pub and restaurant is set inside 880 acres of stunning gardens and has won many awards for its locally sourced food, including a prestigious Taste of The West Award. This Father’s Day, alongside a fabulous meal of course, Fathers will receive a free gift -certainly something to bear in mind if you get hungry exploring South Devon!
Father’s Day weekend also has some great sporting events taking place in South Devon, including the Dartmoor Classic CycloSportive.
